BFREC
Voice and Video Recorder
Application

Description
The voice and video recorder can be used during a therapeutic conversation to record the conversation itself at the same time as physiological parameters. The video recorder function is new: this enables the discussion to be recorded as a video (this is in addition to the sound recording function, which is still available). In the review after the session, conspicuous physiological parameters can be matched precisely to the point in the conversation at which they occurred. To avoid undesirable feedback reactions, the monitor should be positioned where the client cannot see it.
Signals from up to seven radio POINTs (or 32 channels) can be transmitted simultaneously. This enables the physiological parameters of a number of people to be monitored in a group setting if required.
MAIN AREAS OF APPLICATION

LANGUAGES

REQUIRED HARDWARE
MIKRO, POINTs and sensors depending on the issue to be addressed for investigative purposes as many as possible of the available monitoring devices.
ADVICE
Video recording opens up new application opportunities, e.g. in psychotherapy (in-vivo exposure for phobias) and speech therapy.
In the case of psychosomatic disorders, client and therapist should discuss the chart and speech recording together with the aim of identifying the topics of conversation that are physically most stressful (play back sections of the conversation in which skin conductance rises sharply).
