Basic Workshop: Safety Assessment Rail (SARAIL)

The Safety Assessment RAIL (SARAIL) is the leading international instrument for diagnosing the driving aptitude of train drivers. It assesses safety-relevant cognitive and psychomotor abilities as well as personality traits and thus assesses whether a train driver meets the requirements for the European train driver's license.

In this basic workshop, you will learn

• about the theoretical, legal and empirical foundations of SARAIL
• which abilities and personality traits can be assessed with SARAIL
• how to use SARAIL in practice and
• how to interpret the results
