DPPD Conference in Salzburg – our highlights

SCHUHFRIED supports research! Not only with our own projects and research support, but also with prestigious awards. This time we were a proud sponsor of the DPPD conference.

This year, the Division of Differential Psychology, Personality Psychology and Psychological Diagnostics (DPPD) met for its 17th conference at the University of Salzburg.

The theme of the event was “Research Diversity – Live Diversity”. A motto that is very close to our hearts at SCHUHFRIED. Our experts were represented with three contributions:

  • The Fairness of a Newly Developed Forced-Choice Personality Test in a Representative Austrian Sample (FCB5) with Felix Dörflinger (SCHUHFRIED Test & Training Developer).

  • Device-independent psychological assessments: Using mobile-first principles to fairly assess cognitive performance across input devices (INT) with Nadine Scheichel (SCHUHFRIED Test & Training Developer).

  • Does the way we measure affect how fairly we measure? (ca. 30 Tests) with Marco Vetter (SCHUHFRIED CPO).

A special treat for us was the sponsoring of the Anne-Anastasi-Award for the Rising Scholar in Psychological Assessment, which this year went to Jun.-Prof. Dr. Kai Horstmann.
The photo shows Nadine Scheichel (SCHUHFRIED), Jun.-Prof. Dr. Kai Horstmann (University of Siegen), Dr. Isabel Thielmann (Max Planck Institute, winner of the William-Stern Prize), Univ.-Prof. Dr. John F. Rauthmann (University of Bielefeld), who moderated the award ceremony.

We congratulate all the winners!
