New tests in your VTS

Import licenses for VTS version 8.27 or lower

To install, please proceed as follows:

1. Save the license file(s) (“SFLIC”) on the computer of the Vienna Test System or on a data carrier that can be accessed by Vienna Test System.
   Please note that for software versions up to and including 8.8, the files with the extension “V2C”must be used. From version 8.8, files with the extension “SFLIC” should be preferred.
2. If you have received a dongle (USB stick), please connect it to your computer.
3. Start Vienna Test System and go to “Settings -> License management”.
   
4. Select the file you have just saved by clicking on the “…” button in the Update licenses line. After selecting the license file, please click “Open”.
5. Click on the “Install update” button. The new licenses will now be installed.

The new licenses are now available in your Vienna Test System.

Please note:

• All previous license files must be installed before you can install the current license file(s). license file(s) can be installed.
• Updates to the Vienna test system are protected by their own code. Before the actual installation, it is therefore checked whether the necessary license for the update is available.

Install licenses for VTS version 8.28 or higher, without Internet connection

From VTS version 8.28, it is possible to switch between two views of the administration software. If you are using the older interface view (dark gray color), please carry out the installation according to these instructions.

If you are using the newer view that is activated by default (white and light blue color), please proceed as follows:

1. Save the license file with the extension “SFLIC” on the computer of the Vienna test system or on a data carrier that can be accessed by Vienna Test System. You can ignore the file with the extension “V2C”.
2. If you have received a dongle (USB stick), please connect it to your computer.
3. Start Vienna Test System and click on the icon for your personal account in the top right-hand corner.
4. Please open your “Environments” there.
   
5. Select the workstation you wish to update. In the “License overview” you will find a window with the “License management”.
6. Select the previously saved file by clicking on the “Refresh” button. After selecting the license file, please click “Open”.
7. Click on the “Install update” button. The new licenses will now be installed.

The new licenses are now available in your Vienna Test System.
