Safer streets for all of us
In traffic situations and in accident prevention, not only a person’s cognitive abilities, but also their personality traits play a crucial role.
This is precisely where traffic psychological assessment comes in.

Tests validated in a traffic psychology setting provide assurance that the tests measure those ability and personality characteristics that are relevant to road safety.
The Fitness to Drive screening test set (DRIVESC) is an especially efficient way to assess the most important ability dimensions of the fitness to drive for any person with a neurological and/or psychological disorder.
If you would like to try out VTS online, register here for our demo version with no obligation. We invite you to familiarise yourself with the practical administration in VTS.
VTS offers several different solutions for assessing fitness to drive outside clinical contexts. Our test sets are compilations of specific tests, all of which are designed to answer overarching questions with particular efficiency.
DRIVESTA offers a general assessment of abilities relevant to motor vehicle driving. DRIVEPLS serves a similar purpose, but additionally measures peripheral perception and is thus suited for assessing drivers with an increased degree of responsibility (of taxis or hazardous goods transports, for example) or people prone to risky driving.
The VTS also includes test sets that have been specifically compiled according to the legal requirements of particular countries (FEV for Germany or DRIVE-FR for France).
Just filter according to the dimensions relevant to your use case, such as overview, driving-related aspects of personality or attention and reaction tests.
With the Vienna Test System, you make objective decisions about the current status of a person’s cognitive abilities. With the empirically based training program CogniPlus, you can support your patients during rehabilitation in the areas of attention functions, executive functioning, memory, neglect/visual field, spatial processing and visuomotor abilities.
CogniPlus was developed in close conjunction with the VTS. This means diagnosis and training build on one another. First, neuropsychological testing is used to determine the training needs and goals, then a training plan is developed and implemented in CogniPlus. Subsequent training progress is then measured again using the VTS.
The corresponding tests and training programs are based on the same clearly defined theoretical constructs. However, the tests and cognitive training programs use different tasks. This enables a reliable distinction to be made between the material-specific learning effect and the desired training effect.
