In order to ensure that all the products marketed by SCHUHFRIED meet high quality standards, we are constantly looking for people who would like to take part in psychological tests in our Research Center.

Our testing times are: Monday to Friday at 10, 12, 14 and 16 o'clock.

The duration of a test varies between one to three hours depending on the test.

At the end of the test, our staff will discuss the test results with you and will be happy to answer any further questions you may have about the results.

Depending on the current program, there may be different tests to choose from - for example, tests on concentration and reaction ability, intelligence, memory, vocabulary, but also questionnaires to determine personality traits or professional interests.

Requirement

Generally, EVERYONE can take part, from the age of 14, regardless of education. Many of our tests also require virtually no computer skills. Our test panels can increase motivation and ease among test persons who are not familiar with mouse, PC or touch screen.

Our staff will of course be happy to help you, and as a general rule: mistakes are also allowed! Whether or not certain requirements (such as native language or gainful employment) have to be met for a test is always precisely stated in the description of the "current tests".

A good knowledge of the German language is required for some of the test items. Sometimes there are also tests that require German as a mother tongue and/or educational language.

Use of data

Standardization

Every result of a psychological test is always a comparison to other people. A fair comparison must be guaranteed, therefore we need many test results from as many different people as possible. The reaction times of younger people, for example, are on average shorter than those of older people. It would therefore not be useful to compare the results of older people with those of younger people. We need test results from both age groups.

Development

Tests that are developed must be checked for their quality. Does the test actually measure what it is supposed to measure? Does it measure this variable? These and other questions are essential for test development and can be answered using the data we collect at the Research Center.

Research

Psychological tests are used to examine many exciting socio-political questions. For example, are there differences between people who have had accidents and those who drive accident-free? Are those who had accidents more willing to take risks or were they just unlucky? Are there connections between personality, responsiveness and driving behaviour? To answer these and other questions, we conduct studies in our Research Center.

Privacy Policy

The test results are stored anonymously. Furthermore, test results are used exclusively for the Research Center of the Schuhfried company. The data will not be passed on to third parties for other use. Data protection is therefore fully guaranteed.
