Application
Measures selective attention and orientation in visual tasks.
The Visual Pursuit Test is used in recruitment, especially in the field of manufacturing & safety assessment, and in traffic psychological investigations. These abilities are also relevant in all types of sport that require quick and accurate assessment of detailed visual stimuli.
Administration
The respondent is presented with a number of random and disorderly lines and asked to visually identify the end of a particular line as quickly as possible. To ensure that the lines are not traced with the finger, two keys on the response panel must be kept depressed throughout the task.
