Application
The test set SFMOTOR Success Factors – Motorsport assess ability and personality dimensions relevant in the field of motor sport.
The SFMOTOR test set is used to help identify suitable drivers for motor sports (e.g. motor racing, karting, motorcycle racing, motorboat racing, truck racing). The respondent’s cognitive abilities are assessed. The selected tests provide an objective assessment of sport psychological characteristics and can thus be of valuable assistance in analyzing strengths and weaknesses.
Validation
The dimensions of SFMOTOR were selected on the basis of content-related considerations. Validation studies were then conducted at Vienna University. An ideal profile, on which SFMOTOR is based, was drawn up from the data of 125 successful racing drivers. These studies were used to define a target range for the ability profile of motor-sport drivers. The extent to which a respondent is in the target range can be calculated and displayed. A ranking can also be displayed.
Scoring
- Table with raw scores, percentile ranks and confidence intervals.
- Profile
- Written report with profile diagram, verbal description of the individual results and details of the FIT score for rapid assessment of the test results and their implications for the respondent’s suitability.
